Every parent knows the feeling: a brand-new lunchbox goes to school on Monday and comes home with someone else by Friday, or not at all. Putting your child’s name on their things is the simplest fix, and it makes them feel special too. Here’s what you can personalise, what it costs, and how to get it done in Midrand.
Why personalise your child’s school items?
- Fewer lost items. Teachers and aftercare staff can return a named bottle or lunchbox in seconds.
- No mix-ups. When half the class has the same pink bottle, a name settles it.
- Kids love it. Seeing their own name makes them more likely to look after their things.
- Great gifts. Named items make thoughtful birthday, back-to-school and baby shower gifts.

Lunchboxes and water bottles
The lunchbox and bottle set is our most practical kids item: a matching pair with your child’s name, in pink or blue. If you only need a bottle, the personalised water bottle comes in various colours, and makes a handy extra for sport and aftercare.
Kids T-shirts for birthdays, sports days and outings
A personalised kids T-shirt works for far more than school. Popular ideas:
- Birthday shirts: “Birthday Girl”, the age, or the party theme.
- Matching party shirts: the birthday child’s name on shirts for siblings and cousins.
- Sports and civvies days: a team name or number.
- Family outings: matching shirts make it easy to spot your kids in a crowd.

Baby announcement vests
A baby announcement vest is a sweet way to share big news: a pregnancy reveal, a birth date, or baby’s name for those first photos. They also make a lovely baby shower gift.
SPARK school uniform golf shirts
We also supply SPARK Schools golf shirts with the school logo, short sleeve (R250) and long sleeve (R300), for ages 2 to 12. See sizes and prices on our SPARK school uniform page.
Tips for choosing the name
- Keep it short. A first name, or first name and surname initial, reads best on small items.
- Think about safety. On things your child carries in public, a first name is enough; there’s no need to add a surname or school.
- Check the spelling before you order. We send a proof, so you can double-check it before we print.
- Order early before the new school term and before birthdays, so there’s time to collect.
