“How much is a logo?” is one of the questions we hear most. The honest answer is that it depends on what you get, from a quick icon to a full brand identity. Here’s what affects the price and what you should expect to receive.

What affects the price of a logo?

  • Research and concepts: a good designer starts by understanding your business, customers and competitors before sketching ideas.
  • Number of concepts and revisions: more options and rounds of changes take more time.
  • What’s included: just the logo, or colours, fonts, stationery and social media graphics too.
  • File formats: professional logos come as vector files you can use on anything, from a business card to a gazebo.

Cheap logos often cost more later

Very cheap online logos can look fine on screen but cause problems later: low-resolution files that print blurry, no vector version for signage or embroidery, or designs copied from templates that other businesses also use. Fixing these later usually costs more than doing it right first.

What our logo design includes

Our logo design starts from R1,500 and includes:

  • A short brief to understand your business
  • Logo concepts and revisions
  • Colour and black and white versions
  • Print-ready vector files plus web-ready PNGs

Need more? We also do full brand identities with stationery, signage and uniforms. See how we launched Mataya M Trading from scratch, or the Air Marine Africa logo.

What to ask any designer

  • How many concepts and revisions are included?
  • Will I get vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF)?
  • Do I own the logo once it’s paid for?
  • Can I see logos you’ve designed for real businesses?
